Well guys, a knife and fork should have been handed out to you,after the final whistle...

You made a hell of a meal of beating what were in all of our opinions, a poor side!

Goals coming from our centre forwards Josh Mc Carthy with a great hatrick to add to his growing collection of goals!  

And Calum Collis his usual dangerous self!

Man of the match awards going out to 2 players again 

Daniel Griffiths , well done fella all over the park commited to every tackle !

Luke Alder , another great performance fighting spirit all the way keep it up luke!

Next fixture for the side : Cardiff Hibernians away at Trelai next saturday 29th sept 10:30 ko.

What can i say ........(Not a lot because my voice has gone from ,all the screaming on the touchline!)

Boys or should i say men!

You all showed massive strength of character this evening!.After last weeks defeat at the hands of what were a very decent side who finished runners up,and cup finalist's last season,we were gifted a chance by thornhill athletic pulling out of their scheduled fixture with whitchurch this evening .

I have just been informed by my son that he overheard one of the opposition, blurting "we are going to have an easy game tonight !"........Over our dead bodies. We pulled out all the stops tonight,stepped up to the plate and smashed it to pieces...Overcoming any misgivings of the quality of football we can play!

not going to mention the 2 sloppy goals we gifted them .

A penalty and a direct low driven free kick, was all that prevented us from beating them good and proper

Possession was superb defence outstanding and with our new up front setup we were always going to cause them problems going forward!

Goals this evening coming from the midfield with Dexter Pattison on the sheet

Gabriel mohammed , Ross Goodwin and our centre forward Calum Collis.

A big thanks to everyone who came to support us and not forgetting afc whitchurch for providing us with, what most of us who were there thought was ....the best game of football they have watched in a long time!

Also many thanks to Ben Stitfall the appointed referee who did a superb job!

For making us and all the parents very proud of you all.

Also we would like to wish Jay Cuddihy a speedy recovery after taking quite a nasty knock to the knee!

And all the best to Tom Diment,who after years of faithfull service has decided to leave the side.

What can i say boys apart from this is one that should definately be forgotten!

Not making any excuses for you but as we train on a thursday and the fixture was thrown upon us with very short notice !......

Most of you turned up for a kickabout witchurch however certainly did not and if it were not for jay cuddihy making some great saves the final score could and should have been a lot higher for witchurch.

At last the 2012-2013 season has started!

After what seemed like forever the summer break is over,and the boys have already got 3 games under their belts!.

First game of the season away at trelai to ely rangers,

Not an easy start to the season by any means, Ely who are and have been a very good passing side over the years .But for the whole of the 80+ minutes the boys battled hard and gave their all as usual and held off countless attacks which eventually from an error in the midfield led to the only goal of the game coming late in the 70th minute .Leading to a few disappointed players wondering if maybe we are not match sharp just yet!

Final score : ely rangers 1-danescourt 0

man of the match went to 2 players:

Josh Mc Carthy and Jay Cuddihy
